This article deals with one of the most powerful miracle-making actions you can take: decluttering your living space. What does decluttering have to do with getting your finances in order and manifesting health, harmony and abundance?

Everything!

There is nothing benign or innocuous about clutter. Even if it’s all hidden away in closets, cupboards and drawers, basements, attics and garages, it is steadily taking its toll on your effectiveness, peace of mind and yes, prosperity consciousness.

Think about it for a moment: WHY do you still have most of that stuff? If you trace the reasons back to their source, there is quite often an anti-prosperity sentiment at the root. And since clutter breeds more clutter, many people experience feelings of helplessness when they attempt to address the problem. Does this sound like you?

Next in our series of “Prosperity Now!” articles is a topic that is of huge importance: financial forgiveness. Clearing up this one area in your consciousness can open floodgates of abundance for you.

What is financial forgiveness? Basically it involves going over your mental “files” and pulling out anything related to being hurt, disappointed or cheated in the financial realm. These memories, if not released, can act like hidden landmines on your road to prosperity.

Why should you forgive? The short answer: for your own sake!

• For your health! There is a high correlation between carrying unresolved grievances and developing serious illness.
• For your peace of mind. Carrying grudges and grievances takes up mental RAM and definitely impairs your effectiveness.
• For your financial well-being. You will tend to attract and reproduce new experiences similar to the ones you hold in mind, especially if there is strong emotion attached. Do you really want more hardship and grief in this area?

And, as one wise person said, “He who refuses to forgive burns the bridge over which he himself must pass. ”

This is the first article in our “Prosperity now!” series. Worried about all the doom and gloom in the news? Read on:

Crisis? What crisis?

That may sound like a naive or even irresponsible attitude, but it is based in solid metaphysical teaching. Regardless what is happening around us, what other people are saying or doing, what “experts” are predicting, WE still choose our own experiences.

Many of the world’s wisdom teachings bear this out. Here’s a quote from Christian scripture:

From Psalm 91:

You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.”

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

The point is, the fate of the masses need not be YOUR fate. You get to choose what kind of life you will have. And if you will step up and take ownership, you will find that your life can begin to take a much more positive course, starting today. This is not just a pep talk or pie in the sky; this is a practical truth that you can take to the bank.

I and others have proved these principles over and over again. They work to the degree that we apply them. So if you want a different outcome than the doomsayers are predicting, this is your chance!
