Activating the Good

Dear fellow particpants in this miracle making week: I hope you took some time over the last day to really capture for yourself the feeling of your desires fulfilled, as explained in the previous post. That one practice can be a powerful tool for transformation and miracles.

Today I’m offering another one, and it may challenge some of you. Trust me, there are many good reasons for you to put it into practice — especially if it is challenging for you to do it at first.

Miracles: Getting Started

For participants in the upcoming Miracle Making Week:

You’ve already taken the first important step: You decided that you are ready to make a significant change in your life, and you declared your intention. You decided that NOW is a good time for a transformation and you are poised to take some actions to bring that about.

Now what? Well, there’s so much I’d like to share with you that I’ve been wondering where to begin. But we can relax about that, because the deciding factor — the one that opens the door to real change — is the one you brought with you. When you said “count me in!” you made a shift from wishing and hoping to deciding to create some positive changes in your life.

Miracle Making Week

Would this be a good week for a miracle?

In the past I’ve made longer posts to explain the benefits of shared positive intentions, prayers, and so forth. But there’s really no need. It’s been scientifically documented that these things work — even to the extent of lowering the crime rate in areas where a significant number of people are meditating or praying for peace.

This time I’m going to keep it short and simple: I’m offering a Miracle Making Week and inviting anyone who wants to give and/or receive help to join in. Do you need miracles in some area of your life? Help? Healing? Answers? Breakthroughs? Transformation?

Lunar New Year!

Today is Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year. And, whatever your cultural heritage, it’s a great opportunity to have a fresh run at the new year.

Let’s be honest: how long did your New Year’s resolutions last? A day? A week? For most of us, those great intentions began to falter within days, and by now are little more than a guilty memory.

But take heart! We can have a fresh start any time. And Lunar New Year brings some wonderful traditions that can help you re-ignite your intentions get your goals for 2009 back on track.
