Here in the states we are celebrating Independence Day. It seems as good a time as any to reflect on the various forms of independence that we can cultivate in our lives. How independent are you?

As Christopher Morley said, “There is only one success — to be able to spend your life in your own way.”

Don’t make yourself “right” or “wrong” with your answers, just keep your mind open and see if you gain some insights (and perhaps some new directions) by reviewing this list:

Whether you celebrate a traditional Easter, the vernal equinox, springtime or just the fact that the weather is improving, most of us recognize this as a season of renewal. That can mean a fresh start, renewed hope, and a new outlook that includes a better approach to old challenges.

Here’s some good news, especially for those who joined in the past few days or who thought it might be too late to participate:

The Week of Healing has been extended through Easter. This is a particularly powerful time, since this is a season of renewal and hope in many cultures and spiritual traditions.

If you have a need for healing in any area of your life (relationships, finances, health, lifestyle, etc.) I encourage you to call or send me a Keen mail about your concerns so that I can add you to the Healing List.

If you’re already on the Healing List, please keep up your positive prayers for yourself and others on the list. If you haven’t joined yet, you now have another chance!

All are invited to join us in sending Light, healing energy and prayers to the participants on the Healing List, and all will benefit by participating. Remember, the positive energy and good intentions you send to others can open the way for you to experience your own personal healings.

I hope you’ll give yourself the gift of participating in both the sending and receiving aspects of this work. Thanks for joining us, and special thanks to all who are making an extra effort to contribute your good energy and positive intentions to the group!
